ABOUT
I live in Cheshire in the North West of England and have been a keen amateur photographer since the mid 1980s when I received a Canon AE-1 Program film SLR camera as a birthday present. I bought my first digital camera in 2003. Since 2010 I have mainly worked using a Canon EOS 7D.
In recent years my interest has generally shifted away from landscape and travel photography towards still life and macro work. I have developed a passion for bokeh photography and often like to shoot with wide apertures which afford a shallow depth of field. This approach and preference has very conveniently enabled me to combine my photography with another favourite hobby of mine, horticulture.
